How much does it cost to switch GP in Denmark?
A voluntary GP switch carries a municipal fee (the amount is set annually — check the current rate at borger.dk). Switching is free if you move, if your clinic closes or stops practising, or if the clinic itself asks you to find a new GP.
The switch itself is digital at borger.dk with MitID and typically takes effect within a couple of weeks, when your new health card is issued.
