I just moved to Denmark or a new municipality — how do I get a GP?
As a newcomer you choose a GP at borger.dk when registering your move — and the switch is free. The problem is finding a clinic that is open: in many municipalities most are closed to intake. Check your new municipality on ÅbenLæge first — you will see immediately who actually accepts patients.
If nothing is open, pick a clinic in a neighbouring municipality (free choice within 15 km) or set an alert on your municipality.
